After tasting tremendous success with 'The Dirty Picture' in Hindi, the makers are planning to remake it in South. Although 'The Dirty Picture' dubbed version released in Telugu and Tamil, it didn't reach wider audience. So, the Bollywood makers are keen on remaking it in Telugu and Tamil. There are few producers that are vying for remake rights, but they are not ready to sell them off.

They believe that the success of The Dirty Picture was because of Vidya Balan and they are very stubborn about casting an actress of same stature if not more. They have Anushka on their mind and few other top South actresses too. First choice for South remake of The Dirty Picture is Anushka. They are yet to meet her though.

If they can rope in Anushka for The Dirty Picture, then they will surely strike gold in Telugu and Tamil as Anushka is very popular in both the languages. When an actress of Anushka's caliber scorches the screen, then it should set the cash registers on fire.

Homely Heroine's Pregnancy Efforts

We are not talking about the efforts she is putting in dark rooms. Don't get confused with the heading and here goes the story about heroine Sneha.

Vidya Balan has shut the mouths of critics with her stunning performance as a pregnant lady in the recent blockbuster 'Kahaani'. Producers down south are now keen to remake this movie with a star heroine in that role. However, our starlets don't fit the bill exactly as there is no scope for skin shows and only this homely beauty suits well, a producer opined. Given her solid performances in movies like 'Rajanna' and 'Ramadasu', Sneha would be perfect choice for that role.

They say that the actress has the power of harnessing the difficulties experienced by pregnant woman with ease as she acted in such roles in many films till date. If the flick really materializes, then Sneha will be on cloud nine for delivering such a top-class feat before her marriage. Let us see what is there in Sneha's mind!
