This maverick director is not less than any superstar hero in Tollywood today. His name itself will bring crores of collections. Critics don't even dare to point out fingers at his film as he is the master of catching the pulse of masses. Eega is solely being sold on his name in all the areas. It has been getting record offers from all the areas.
                
The satellite rights of Eega were sold for 5.5 crores, says the buzz. A film with Nani in the lead can hardly get 2 crore offer from the TV channels, but Eega was sold for an amount equal to a superstar's film. And Mr. Nani agrees that the hero of this film is one and only Rajamouli. After knowing about the business craze for Eega, everyone from film industry is saying 'Jahapana Tussi Great Ho...Taufa kabool karo,' 3 Idiots ishtyle!

Trade report: Shiva Ratri releases

Maha Shiva Ratri witnessed three notable releases at Tollywood box office. Raviteja's Nippu was the red hot one prior to release due to star value and Sunil solely brought instant craze to Poola Rangadu. Siddharth's excessive efforts raised curiosity over his Love Failure. All three films verdict is out and let's see the status of these movies at the box office.

Nippu:      
           
Raviteja's Nippu opened with decent collections, but there is a drastic fall from the second day itself. Nippu has received mostly negative reviews from the noted critics and the public response is even worse. This has been out rightly written off as a disastrous movie. Nippu's collections didn't see any rise on Sunday and Monday (Shiva Ratri). Collections on Tuesday and Wednesday indicate that the film is only going down the hill. As per the trend, Nippu might end up as a bigger flop than Veera for Raviteja.

Poola Rangadu:

Sunil's Poola Rangadu is clear winner among the three releases. Thanks to Sunil's comedy and dances, mass audiences are going gaga over the film. The business is not big in A centers as expected. But the film is getting very good response in B and C centers. Poola Rangadu may collect over 15 crore share in full run, as per the early estimates.

Love Failure:

Siddharth played triple role for this film. He acted, produced and also distributed the movie. Actor Sid is more than happy with the positive response and producer Sid is content for earning back the investment prior to the release. But the distributor Sid has been experiencing mixed results as of now. Love Failure has been doing reasonably good in Hyderabad. But the returns in other areas including big centers like Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam have been below average. The concept and treatment of the film is very urbane and therefore Love Failure is finding it tough to convert the positive response into solid revenue!

'Daruvu' Shooting Halted By T-Agitators

One more time, the T-agitators had showed their like for halting the shooting of movies belonging to heroes of other regions. This time it is mass-raja Raviteja and his latest movie faced the hurdle today.

While shooting at a private hospital in Tarnaka area, Raviteja's 'Daruvu' faced the heat from separate state demanding agitators. The intruders attacked the shooting spot all of a sudden and destroyed some of the 'spot lights' belonging to the unit. Unable to control the situation, the producers have cancelled the shoot for the day. Even before the raging debate between the agitators and the unit started, Raviteja has left the spot in his car, say sources. 

Earlier Sunil's Poola Rangadu and Manchu Manoj's Mr.Nokia faced same kind of situations while shooting in the outskirts of the city. Shouryam fame Shiva is the director of this movie while red-hot Taapsee is paired opposite Raviteja for the second time.

Kajal's deadly blow to Samantha

Kajal Agarwal, who experienced a slight lull in her career, is back in business with Businessman. She has two big films on her hand now. She is playing the female lead in NTR Jr.'s Badshaw and Ram Charan - Vinayak films. Also she is doing two big movies in Tamil with Suriya and Vijay.

There is a big fight going on between Kajal and Samantha now. Samantha, who had once played second fiddle to Kajal (Brindavanam), has turned out to be the first choice heroine in Tollywood at the moment. Kajal, who is aware of the rise of Samantha, has been doing her best to be on top. If the buzz is to be believed, Kajal has cut down her paycheck to attract producers.

Any actress would ask for higher remuneration after a hit, but Kajal is asking for less money after Businessman and unsurprisingly producers are being attracted by her. This comes as a jolt to Samantha as she is finding it tough to adjust dates due to the packed diary. At this moment Kajal is eating into Sam's offers with low price tag. When Sunil's first film Andala Ramudu collected over 10 crore rupees from the theatricals, it was brushed off as a fluke feat.

When Maryada Ramanna raked in over 20 crore plus collections, most of the credit was given to Rajamouli. But with Poola Rangadu, Sunil proves his mettle as a hero yet again. This film has got openings on par with star heroes and the atmosphere at the cinema halls is unbelievable. Sunil's dances and his six pack abs are being cheered and applauded by the masses.

As per early estimates, Poola Rangadu is likely to collect over 15 crore rupees from the theatricals alone. This whole credit will go to one and only Sunil. The numbers will easily escalate over Rs. 20 crore, if he is supported by a star director. So dear folks, a new star is born with Poola Rangadu. Hail Sunil! 

Coming Soon! Hero Ram's 'Mango'

A couple of mass blockbusters have created the required mass-image for him. Hero Ram now looks like striving hard for the so called class-hero image. There comes this 'Mango'.

Currently Ram is going to hit screens very soon with his 'Endukante Premanta' under the direction of love-story specialist Karunakaran. However, talks are going on about his next venture after this flick. Industry is abuzz that Ram is coming up under the direction of Bommarillu Bhaskar. Last movie of Bhaskar is 'Orange' and hence the name 'Mango' for this upcoming film. Though this is just a joke doing rounds in Film Nagar, there is a lot of satire in it. 

All this is due to the utter-flop result of Ram Charan's 'Orange' that confused the audiences with Bhaskar's creativity. Also commented that this latest subject is not liked by hero Karthi, to whom Bhaskar gave a first narration and finally caught Ram in his web. Let us see what happens!

Young Hero Torturing Top Choreographers

General notion is that Choreographers torture heroes and heroines sweetly with their hard-compositions. It is for the best output of the film only. Here, things are going other way round, as Nikhil is torturing choreographers, say sources.

By and large, dance moves are composed basing on the body language and easiness of the actor doing it. A 'move' created for Jr.NTR or Ram Charan cannot be given to Mahesh Babu as he is not ease at dancing. Likewise, if a guy like 'Allu arjun' is present, choreographers take it as a challenge to create their best and hard ones. Nikhil falls in the slot of an average dancer as he never exhibited his extra-ordinary dancing skills. 

To carve a niche for himself in dances that have a lion's share in entertaining audiences, Nikhil is forcing choreographers for hard-steps. According to sources, he is not allowing them to give him simple-moves and is trying hand at all those body twisters performed by stars like NTR and Charan. Nikhil, not being a seasonal dancer and trying variety with lot of physical strain is something to be noticed here. That looks like the right spirit an young hero should possess!

No Bollywood Hero could match Ram Charan

Bollywood filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia ('Shootout At Lokhandwala' fame) justified his decision to cast Ram Charan in the remake of Zanjeer. The young actor will don the role of a tough cop, which was originally essayed by B-Town superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

"Someone who is young will suit the role of the protagonist in this remake. In my opinion, most of the Bollywood heroes fit for romantic comedies and light-hearted entertainers. There is no young action hero in Bollywood. Ram Charan is unconventionally good looking and already a proven action hero in the South. He's perfect for the role of an angry young man," said the director.
 
Lakhia revealed that Ram Charan took a lot of time to sign his first Bollywood film. "It took almost an year for me to convince the actor to sign the film. The transition from a big star (in Tollywood) to a new-comer (in Bollywood) is never gonna be easy,"

The director clarified that the script of this remake will be contemporary to suit the taste of Today's audience. The film deals with the oil mafia, also include episodes like murders of sonavane and journalist J Dey. A leading heroine will play the female lead and plans are on to rope prominent actors for key roles. This film will go to the floors in the second half of 2012.

Mohan Babu, generally appears big in both cut-out and voice. But his penchant for kids is known to everyone as he spends most of his leisure time with school children. According to an insider story, Mohan Babu was shocked the other day with the revealing of a 10 year old boy. When MB took the boy closer with affection, the kid explained his like for cinema and his intention to direct his son Vishnu in a film.

Incidentally, he wants to narrate a subject to him for the same reason and even went on singing few lines for the background effect of his story-line. The incident has left MB speechless and he gently patted the shoulder of the kid, amazed by his confidence and courage. The hungama created by the film SMS is finally washed out with mixed reviews and trade talks. Now, it's time for SMS Babu, aka Sudhir Babu to change his game-plan, say analysts.

Generally, a star with so much of pushing from a films centric family and no winning traits are often rejected by Tollywood. Take the case of Akkineni fielder Sumanth or Nandamuri batsman Tarakratna, who are launched with huge family-fare before getting bowled at Box Office.

Likewise, Sudhir too got the deserved publicity through the presence of his 'baava' Superstar Mahesh. Though the image of Superstar Krishna and the 'family' tag helped in pulling few audiences this time, it may not work again. The flick got an average response at the Box Office, while Sudhir got insipid reception. He needs to work a lot on his acting skills and especially his voice modulation before taking any further assignments. Till now, pale scripts have never worked for any hero's second movie. There should be something bold and head-hitting from him, otherwise chances to afloat for a long time will diminish faster, say critics. Time for Sudhir to stop the 'japam' of Superstar Krishna and Mahesh it looks!

This is about the burgundy eyed beauty Deepika Padukone who recently walked out of 'Race 2' and has signed in 'Kochadaiyaan' in south opposite superstar Rajinikanth. It is heard that Ramesh was waiting for Deepika to come back but it looks clear she is not.
