SMS Babu! Time To Change Game Plan
The hungama created by the film SMS is finally washed out with mixed reviews and trade talks. Now, it's time for SMS Babu, aka Sudhir Babu to change his game-plan, say analysts.
Generally, a star with so much of pushing from a films centric family and no winning traits are often rejected by Tollywood. Take the case of Akkineni fielder Sumanth or Nandamuri batsman Tarakratna, who are launched with huge family-fare before getting bowled at Box Office.
Likewise, Sudhir too got the deserved publicity through the presence of his 'baava' Superstar Mahesh. Though the image of Superstar Krishna and the 'family' tag helped in pulling few audiences this time, it may not work again. The flick got an average response at the Box Office, while Sudhir got insipid reception. He needs to work a lot on his acting skills and especially his voice modulation before taking any further assignments. Till now, pale scripts have never worked for any hero's second movie. There should be something bold and head-hitting from him, otherwise chances to afloat for a long time will diminish faster, say critics. Time for Sudhir to stop the 'japam' of Superstar Krishna and Mahesh it looks!
