Dammu and Daruvu Release Clash

Raviteja comes face to face with NTR

Few days ago there was talk that Raviteja's Daruvu movie release has been postponed indefinitely due to heavy competition. But the makers of Daruvu released a press statement that their film is going to release on time without fail. As per the producer Daruvu will be released on May 4th. That means it will be released exactly a week after NTR's Dammu is released.

Dammu is going for an all out release with more than thousand theaters on its first day. Although it is releasing so big, it is impossible to collect all its costs in one week. So Dammu will need another week without much competition to enter the safe zone. But Raviteja is not going to take the back step as of now.

With so many biggies lined up for release in May and June, Daruvu makers feel that May 4th is the ideal date to release their film. This clash can affect Dammu as well as Daruvu. Let's see if D and D come to an agreement and maintain good gap to the benefit of each other.

Jr NTR- Trivikram team up for TV Add

So far, the intellectual genius Trivikram Srinivas were not working with young tiger Jr. NTR, but now he has done that. Now everything was supposedly for a TV commercial. Sources say that Trivikram has targeted for junior Navaratna Talk advertising and this would soon be aired on television. The previous ad was directed by SS Rajamouli the hard taskmaster. Many hope that this combo soon ventured into a white scarf project for the pleasure of the NTR fans.

Real Life: Star Heroes Share Same Character

Sometime ago, when they have bonded close in a function, everyone thought there is something. Now, happenings in their respective families are also alike to strengthen their rapport further.

A split in the mega family is clearly evident and the only person out of family is Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. Likewise, Jr.NTR also got sidelined or he himself opted out from the Nandamuri group, say sources. There is Pawan at 'Racha' audio function and there is no Nandamuri group at 'Dammu' audio function. In both the cases, the issues of 'power' are said to be the main causes for expulsion. While Pawan is worried about the merger of PRP into Congress as he lost his 'Yuvarajyam', Telugudesam is worried with Jr.NTR as he may walkout with TDP's steering. 

Both these made it very clear that they love technicians during their recent public events. Fans of these heroes are rejoiced with their bonding and continue to be happier irrespective of all these events. 'Both Powerstar and Young Tiger share same character in real life too. We're hoping for a multi starrer by them', a fan of both these heroes stated.

Jr. NTR is shorter than her!

Long legged heroines are finding it tough in Tollywood these days as most of the frontline heroes are of average height. Jr. NTR, Charan, Allu Arjun and many others are just about average in height. So any heroine, who is taller than an average Indian woman, is not fitting perfectly beside them. One of them is Radha's daughter Karthika, who made her debut with the movie Josh.

Karthika is paired up with NTR in Dammu. She plays second fiddle to Trisha in this movie. Trisha herself is a heroine with good height and is almost as taller as NTR. Karthika is taller than Trisha and that means she is a bit taller than NTR too. We can see that Karthika looked tall beside NTR at the Dammu audio launch.

Boyapati Srinu and the cameran Arthur A Wilson might have had difficulty in setting frames while NTR and Karthika are in one frame. So this won't be good news for Karthika if she is hoping to pair up with other Tollywood stars. She may not get chances opposite Cherry and Bunny. Tall heroines like Anushka, Richa Gangopadhyay and few others are already facing this problem.

Last days for Mahesh Babu's record

Superstar Mahesh Babu has set a new record in opening collections with Businessman. This film has set a benchmark for Telugu films in terms of openings and now Mahesh's competitors are gearing up to have a go at it. One or more summer releases are sure to surpass Businessman record, opine trade analysts.

Racha, Dammu and Gabbar Singh are going to release in more than thousand theaters across the globe and all these movies are carrying high expectations. All these films are going to take a bumper opening at the box office. If supported by decent content, then these films will surely set new records in openings. Pawan, NTR and Charan have superb mass following and their crowd pulling stamina cannot be questioned.

Trade also expect one or more from the summer releases to make it to all time top five list of Tollywood. Charan already holds the number one slot. Pawan and NTR are yet to make it to the list. Looks like time has come for the biggest mass stars to prove their mettle. Let's hope all these three films hit bull's eye and shake the box office like never before.

No entry for Harikrishna and Jr NTR

Nara Vari Palle, the native of TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu is getting ready for special get-together of Nandamuri and Nara clan. Recently, Chandrababu has given his nod to unveil the statue of his father-in-law and former Chief Minister NTR at his native village during the Sankranthi season.

The TDP Chief decided to use this opportunity to spend quality time with his family members. So, he planned a get-together with the members of Nandamuri and Nara family on Jan 13 & Jan 14. Though the fans and TDP cadre expected Harikrishna and NTR Jr to visit Nara Vari Palle to bury the differences, that’s not going to happen looking at the current developments.

Nara Vari Palle is filled with the cut-outs and flexes of Chandrababu, Balakrishna, Nara Rohit. Not even a single poster of Harikrishna and Jr NTR could be seen in the village, which eventually tells that either the father-son duo were not invited for the meeting or they intentionally skipped the meeting having an invitation.

During the Mahanadu in 2011, Harikrishna created a scene by refusing to talk when offered mike and walked out of the venue in protest over the demand within the party to make Babu’s son Nara Lokesh as the in-charge of Chandragiri constituency. He was also upset that cut-outs and posters of Lokesh were put up all over the venue while none of his was visible. Promoting Lokesh as the successor of Chandrababu irked Harikrishna and Jr NTR, who were dreaming to make it big in the political arena. Let’s wait and see where is this gonna end!!!

Can Ram Charan  compete with NTR?

TDP always had enough support from Tolloywood, since the  party origin itself is from the personality of Film Industry.The party has it’s own family hero’s. The same story repeats when Chiranjeevi Started his party PRP. PRP party got immense support from his family members. But Congress never gained any advantage from film Industry at the time of election Campaign.
The fight between Chiranjeevi and Bala Krishna heating up day by day. For the coming 2014 elections, congress had a strategy of using Chiranjeevi Charsihma against Bala Krishna in election Campaign. Now the gossips gone a step ahead in a way that “If TDP planned to get Jr NTR for Campaign, Congress will plan to get Ram Charan support”. These words shifts focus to younger generation into politics.

But, Is that true of Comparing Ram Charan with Jr NTR. In the younger generation level undoubtedly Jr NTR is in top position in tollywood. Ram Charan giving tough competition to younger Hero’s by keeping Industry record on his name. While coming to politics, NTR proved his maturity and strategic approach towards public via election campaign in 2009. Of course he failed to get TDP into power he got very good score from political critics. If Congress wish Ram Charan to campaign against NTR, there will be no use of it. He may not impress people as NTR do.

NTR Dammu leaked dialogues go viral on the web

In the recent past, NTR tried to re-invent himself by choosing diverse roles which would cater for a wide range of audience. But for his upcoming film ‘Dammu’, NTR is back to his favorite mass entertainers. NTR’s strength lies in terrific base voice, dialogue delivery and diction. He portrays a powerful role in the film and the dialogues are said to be treat for his fans.

Although, no one from the film unit confirmed the authenticity of these leaked dialogues, they are already creating a huge positive buzz only to mount the expectations on the film. If by any chance they are real, we can assume that ‘Tiger’ is getting ready to roar again!!!

My time has come: NTR

Sorry to say that, we are not referring to the Young Tiger. NTR here is Nandamuri Taraka Ratna, who is yet to make a mark of his own in the Film Industry. Taraka Ratna is the only hero in the Industry, who failed to score atleast a single hit, despite the backing of huge fan base (Nandamuri).

The young actor admits that the flaws in him had ruined his chances to make it big in the Industry. However, Taraka Ratna claims that he is a better actor now and is eager to prove his mettle.

“There were many flaws I can find in me and I’m not mature enough then. Those were probably the two reasons for the dismal performance of my films at the Box Office. But that’s past. Now, I’m a confident actor. Everyone has their time and My time has finally come with Nandeeswarudu,” said Tarakaratna.

The film Nandeeswarudu is slated for release on January 14, as a Sankranthi treat. Sankranthi is often considered the hottest season for the Tollywood folks. Nandamuri Heroes delivered some of the record breaking hits during this season. Sadly, none of the star heroes of Nandamuri clan were in the race this time. Seems like Taraka Ratna is trying to fill the gap. It may come as a sweet surprise for Nandamuri fans, if Taraka Ratna scores a hit with Nandeeswarudu. Hope so!!!

Balayya to contest against Purandeswari

Of course, it’s an open secret that whoever the candidate might be, he/she is bound to lose the battle against Daggubati Purandeswari, given the fact that she is the daughter of Legend NTR and having an added advantage of being one of the most efficient leaders in the country.

Apparently, there are many leaders within the Congress party who openly express their desire to replace her after the completion of her term, to cash on Purandeswari’s good work till then. But, there are none who would dare to contest against her and even if some one tries, the result can be predicted even before the polling date.

Is there anyone who could win against Purandeswari? ‘Yes’ is the answer by TDP leaders and cadre. And the one happens to be Nandamuri Balakrishna, who is poster-boy of TDP in 2014 elections. There is a talk in the political circles that Balakrishna would be contesting against Purandeswari in Visakhapatnam.

“If Balakrishna contests from Visakha, we would ensure that he is elected with a thumping majority. All the fans (NTR/Balakrishna/TDP) would vote for Balayya and NTR’s daughter tag wouldn’t work anymore,” opined the people of Visakha.

In 2009 elections, most of the TDP workers voted for Purandeswari, despite chandrababu fielding his party candidate. But if Balayya is in the picture, Purandeswari will surely lose the TDP vote bank along with a majority of Congress cadre.

Whether Balakrishna would agree for this proposal or not is a million dollar question now, given the close bonding he shares with his sister. Not to forget that Balayya himself had announced that he is open to contest from any seat in the state, if party suggests. Who knows what’s on Babu’s mind?

Nandamuri close watch on Businessman

NTR has been challenged by Mahesh babu  with two biggest hits. Despite having superb fan following and upper hand over Mahesh babu in mass centers, Nandamuri has’t produced a big hit like Pokiri or Dookudu yet.  His fans believe that NTR could beat Ram charan’s Magadheera if everything falls in place. So beating Pokiri and Dookudu may not be an big issue, they say!

Until now Jr.NTR dint live up to those expectations as most of his hit films were limited to a particular range. Now Mahesh babu comes again with Businessman, which has every chance to land somewhere between Pokiri and Dookudu, if it gets positive talk from the audience.

The pressure upon Jr.NTR would increase furthermore if that happens. So, he has been closely watching it in every aspect. Film nagar sources say that NTR too is looking for a gigantic release for Dammu in summer. The other reason for NTR to keep an eye on Businessman is, he has already signed a film under Puri direction and he would be interested to see if the star director is back in form or not!

Can Nandamuri survive the Mahesh Heat?

Nandamuri Taraka Ratna might be feeling that Jr. NTR’s success lies in his name and that is why he insists on calling him as NTR too. He got that name stamped on Nandeeswarudu posters and looks like he has already grown in confidence.

Taraka Ratna is yet to register his first hit in his career which is close to ten years. We doubt if Nandamuri fans have any hopes left in him. But as far as Tarak is concerned he has got enough in him to compete with the current league of heroes. He believes that Nandeeswarudu launches him right there on the top.

Taraka Ratna does not fear to take on red hot Mahesh for this Pongal. He is locking horns with him as Nandeeswarudu joins the Pongal race with Businessman and Bodyguard. People expected this film to stay out of the competition when there is a reschedule of B and B release. But Taraka Ratna too pushed his film by a day and is looking to take on the big guns. Even if his film stands a chance to compete with the biggies or not, his confidence has to be lauded!

Dammu First Look Photos for Sankranthi

Dammu First Look Stills and Posters: Young tiger NTR starrer Dammu movie first look pics and images would be released for Sankranthi it seems. The Dammu posters and pics that are currently doing rounds in the Internet are only the photos released and not the official ones. In fact, reports from the production house have it saying that only NTR’s Dammu stills have been released by a leading newspaper on an obligation but Dammu official logo and first look posters will be unveiled for Pongal.

Prominent publicity designer Dhani Aelay will starting designing Dammu first look posters and stills and the makers will complete the remaining task by Pongal to release NTR’s looks in Dammu. Boyapati Seenu has done all the hard work to get back Jr. NTR into masala flavour whilst retaining other elements. Trisha and Karthika are playing the female leads. Keeravani is scoring the music for this high voltage action movie, which is produced by Alexander Vallabha under Creative Commercials Media and Entertainment banner while KS.Ramarao is presenting it.
