Usually, there are many instances heard of heroes and heroines quoting exorbitant prices to producers which tend to make them run away. However, here is an interesting twist. It is heard that one villain has become the cause for many producers to check their pockets or run away from him.

He is none other than Sonu Sood. Reports say that after his recent spate of successes in Tollywood, Sonu has upped his remuneration to a whopping Rs 80 lakhs. Yes, it is heard that the demand for Sonu is so high that he has begun to quote that figure to producers approaching him.

While some of them are reportedly running away, there are those who are willing to go ahead with the deal since they are confident that Sonu’s presence onscreen means good revenue and collections for the film. Soon, Sonu would be seen in a new film starring Allu Arjun.

Why Is Richa Out Of ‘Shadow’?

Richa Gangopadhyay, the sexy NRI Bengali Beauty needs a special mention for her role in NAGAVALLI. Life is not smooth for her after that and here is another supporting story!

Initial buzz is that Richa is the main lead alongside Venkatesh in his SHADOW. However, today it is made public that tempting damsel Taapsee and spicy Madhurima are the leads. Even a couple of days back, it is only Richa’s name that is written in the registers of producers. So, what might have changed their decision to replace Richa is the question now.

Sources are saying that, the film needs a stylish actress for that particular role, where Tapsee would be more apt than Richa. Tapsee replaced Richa just a few moments before movie launch event. Richa did not get a ‘shot’ in Tollywood for a year at least. Currently she is doing in Prabhas’ VARADHI and sources shared she is just a second-fiddle.

Good news for Venkatesh fans! The initial reports from the Censors and the industry circles are very positive. As per the talk, first half of Bodyguard is a fun ride with ample comedy provided by Venkatesh. The college scenes have come out really well, they say.
As per the buzz from industry sources, Venky is eyeing yet another Victory with Bodyguard. The film’s censor has been done and it has been certified clean U which has become a rarity for big budget films these days.

Second half slows down a bit due to less comedy, but has enough to sustain the interest of the audience. Last thirty minutes of the film is said to be the heart of it as Venkatesh has given terrific performance in bringing out the right feel. All in all Bodyguard is said to be a complete film that caters to festive crowds. History says such films have done well for Pongal and if we go by it, Venkatesh has a winner at hands.

Tollywood senior hero and TDP Leader Balayya on Saturday made sensational comments on his contemporary actor and erstwhile PRP Chief Chiranjeevi.

Balakrishna stated that Chiru is now regretting his decision to enter into political arena. Terming Chiruas an escapist, Balayya said the former PRP Chief have no motive to serve people.

However, The TDP star campaigner has some good things to say about Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. “Though Chief Minister has a strong desire to prove himself, the situation in the Congress party is not permitting him to make his mark on the administration.”

Balayya announcing his electoral debut has lifted the spirits of TDP Leaders and workers all over the state. He also clarified that he would continue to do films, despite entering into active politics.

‘Rana is my 3am buddy’- Trisha

Svelte actress Trisha recently got back after an eventful New Year’s Eve at the Goa Sunburn festival. Recently, reports in the media have constantly been highlighting her supposed closeness with actor Rana Daggubati.

Talking about the speculations, a calm and composed Trisha says, “There is nothing to clarify. Rana and I have been close friends for nearly 10 years now. I got to know him when I was just a couple of films old. There is no way that I can think on any other lines with him. These rumours are baseless.”

She adds, “He’s a sweetheart and I love him as a friend. He’s one of my 3am friends! You know how people assume things when they see a guy and girl hang out often in public.”

Moving on to other topics, one can’t help asking Trisha about the year 2011. She replies, “I realised that when something does not work out — professionally and personally — it’s for the best, and 2011 has taught me this.”

A number of actors have been known to splurge on swanky cars and posh apartments, and Trisha too is not far behind. She reveals, “I am planning to buy either a Merc or a Beetle. I can’t wait to get my new car.”

For Trisha, 2012 is going to be eventful in terms of her career. She says, “I am a very ambitious person so I am hoping that work-wise it’ll turn out to be a good year. Otherwise, I hope things remain the same!”

Rumour mills can be a turn off and the pretty actress admits, “The best way thing is to ignore them. Unless it involves my close friends and family, I choose not to react to any rumours or sensationalism.”

The actress is now off to Hyderabad to shoot for Dammu, with Junior NTR.
