Speculation is running high. Who will be Rajini’s heroine in Kochadaiyaan?
Though several big heroines have started sending feelers to the production house and director K.S. Ravikumar, dusky babe Anushka Shetty tops the list.
K.S.R. has gone on record that they are approaching Anushka for the 3D version of the period film, based on the life and times of Pandia emperor Speculation is running high. Who will be Rajini’s heroine in Kochadaiyaan in 735 AD.
Rajini will portray king Kochadayaan, known for his bravery and chivalry. Kochadayaan also refers to Lord Shiva.
Soundarya Ashwin who directs the movie, tells DC, “Like any other production house which approaches heroines who suit the role, we also follow the same pattern. Talks are on but we haven’t confirmed any actress yet.”
Buzz is that Anushka, Vidya Balan and Asin are being considered. Anushka Shetty has always evinced a keen interest in acting with Rajinikanth since like him, she too hails from Karnataka. Despite her busy Tollywood schedules she is expected to give priority dates for this film.
The only hitch is that the former yoga instructor has also been offered a chance to costar with Ajith in a movie produced by the legendary Nagi Reddy banner.
Now she has to choose between Rajini and Ajith!
