Nagarjuna says, "Earlier I portrayed the roles of a devotee in Annamayya and Ramadasu. But now, it is a fortune to portray the role of an embodiment of God, Shirdi Sai. While that is one side, here is an interesting bit. Recently, Allu Aravind was sharing his thoughts in an interview when he came up with a statement. It is heard that unless Sirish does 15 films in Tamil he will not be entering Tollywood. Apparently, Sirish has to set a statement that he is a fine actor.
 
Kollywood has been the home for realistic movies and natural performers. So, once he proves his mettle there as a performer, Sirish is reportedly planning to enter into Tollywood. Mahesh Babu’s latest film Businessman’s business is seeing steep fall after second weekend. Trade pundits say that the business might come to a close very soon unless there is a miraculous rise in the third week. Mahesh is sparing extra time for the promotions of Businessman at the moment.

Meanwhile, his next film, which is dubbed as the first real multi-starrer of the era, Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu has hit the floors already. Mahesh will join the shoot very soon. The latest rumor says that this film is the Tollywood version of Karan Johar’s family drama Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham. Mahesh’s role in the film is similar to Hrithik’s role in K3G, they say. Venkatesh and Prakash Raj characters resemble Shahrukh and Amitabh roles respectively. These are the days when even small budget movies at the range of Rs 4 cr- Rs 6 cr find it hard to recover their investment. Amidst this situation, here is one film which has been made at a whopping budget of Rs 62 crores, is yet to hit the screens but has already recovered the entire investment.

We are talking about the film ‘Agneepath’ slated to hit the screens on January 26th. Sources say the film raked in Rs 35 crores out of the satellite rights and the noted banner Eros has reportedly purchased the overseas rights by shelling Rs 15 crores. The other update is that music, home and video rights have contributed Rs 12 crores.

The cine pundits predict that the film looks sure to hit the Rs 100 crores club after its release. Already, a special screening was held in Mumbai and it got an overwhelming response. The film has Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt clashing with each other while Karan Johar is the producer. Pout lipped beauty Priyanka Chopra is the leading lady while the angel of beauty Katrina Kaif is offering the item song ‘Chikni Chameli’.

Films and Politics always go hand in hand. Ulaganayakan Kamal Hassan who is known to enthrall movie lovers touching wide range of subjects is now charmed so much by Anna Hazare who is fighting lonely battle against corruptions going hammer and tongs making entire system dance to his tunes, that he announced that his next project will be touching on corruption. The film will be titled ‘Amar Hain’ a bilingual starring the famous hero. It is a real surprise as Kamal earlier took on corruption on screen eliminating everyone including his own son in super hit ‘Bharateeyudu’ under Shankar’s direction. According to grapevine, an ace producer and a star director are fighting for Pavan Kalyan. The quarrel rose in connection with the producing of his next film after GABBAR SINGH. If sources are to be believed, Pavan gave a serious 'yes' to Puri's movie after this flick. Other than directing, Puri wants to produce the flick on his own banner 'Vaishno Academy'.

However, Allu Arvind is said to be insisting Puri to produce the movie on 'Geetha Arts' banner. Though Pavan gave the consent just few days back, Arvind is waiting from a long time to get Puri direct under his company. Let us see what happens!

A lot has been happening since the time 'Businessman' has arrived and the success wave it has created. Things got into a major frenzy after director Puri Jagannadh announced that he would be doing a sequel to it and it would feature prince Mahesh Babu in a dual role.

However, the speculations and confusions increased when Puri announced that he would be doing a film with Pawan Kalyan. There was also a talk that the sequel has been shelved or left in the cold storage. Just when everyone were beginning to give up, here is the latest update.

When media quizzed him about the excessive beeps in the film, Mahesh replied,"We too felt that some of the beeps were unnecessary. The Censor Board allowed such kind of words in some of the films. I don't know, why they raised objection to our film. That's why, the number of beeps have increased".

How can the Censor Board members justify blurring the legs of the Item Girl in Businessman, when they permitted the deep cleavage shows in some films? Despite having Adult content, few films get away easily with little cuts, less/no beeps and an 'A' or 'U/A' certificate. While others get punished by coming under the scissors of Censor.
